Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge is located in Kisoro District and is managed by Uganda Cultural Lodges. The lodge is a gateway to trekking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge sits on the Lake Mulehe peninsula and overlooks the Virunga volcanoes of Mount Gahinga, Mount Sabyinyo, and Mount Muhabura.
The lodge was built using African local materials, making it environmentally friendly and allowing it to blend well with the natural surroundings.
Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge is a four star accommodation option that balances nature with modern comfort. It has 11 en suite cottages that can be expanded to 14, each equipped with modern facilities. The rooms are grouped into single, double, triple, and family cottages.
Each cottage is well furnished to offer comfort and comes with a private veranda where guests can relax and enjoy views of Lake Mulehe and the Virunga volcanoes.
