Mount Elgon National Park
Found along the Uganda–Kenya border, Mount Elgon is the oldest volcanic mountain in East Africa. The park is rich in flora and fauna, hosting more than 350 bird species including the endangered Lammergeyer. Other animals include forest monkeys, elephants, and buffaloes.
