Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge Bwindi

Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge Bwindi

Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge is located in the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

The lodge sits in the middle of the jungle and is one of the most comfortable and welcoming places to stay on a gorilla safari.

The lodge was built using local materials to blend with the natural environment, helping visitors feel more connected to nature.

Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge offers eight handcrafted rooms with clear views of the park and the surrounding areas. As visitors relax at the lodge, they may even see mountain gorillas feeding or playing near the compound.

The rooms are grouped into three types: single rooms, double rooms, and triple rooms.

Single rooms are well equipped with a comfortable king sized bed and all necessary amenities. These include mosquito nets, en suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, bed side lamps, and wardrobes. They are suitable for single guests or couples.

Double rooms come with two queen sized beds and offer a comfortable stay. Each room has a private balcony where visitors can relax and enjoy views of the forest and wildlife. Amenities include mosquito nets, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, en suite bathrooms, and wardrobes. These rooms can accommodate two people.

Triple rooms come with three beds and necessary amenities. They are suitable for families or small groups. Amenities include mosquito nets, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, and en suite bathrooms.

Services at the lodge include 24 hour security, WiFi, a 24 hour front desk, and a fireplace.

Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge can be accessed by both air and road. By air, visitors can fly from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield to Kisoro Airstrip, followed by a short drive to the lodge. By road, visitors travel from Kampala for about eight to ten hours.

Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge is more than just a place to stay. It brings visitors closer to nature.
